Wish #3

My third wish is another that is on it's way to becoming true.

I wished for another way to sell my pieces. I had always thought about doing home parties, but didn't really know how to get started. I did do my research, but when I looked at who could be a possible hostess, and who the guests would be, I figured it would end there ~ one party, done. So, I didn't think it would be worth the time or expense. I left one important person out of this hostess possibility, my oldest daughter.

She gladly volunteered and encouraged me to do a party for her and her friends. How could I have been so blind?

So, we set a date and ordered new business cards and invitation cards, printed out hostess information sheets with the benefits of hosting a party, how-to sheets and got some new ideas for displaying the pieces. We are both so excited. One major issue to tie up before this happens, but I now know I can do it.

Hopefully, I'll remember my camera (I am famous for needing it and forgetting it) and be able to take photos of the event to post and share. The party is in about a month, so plenty more time to prepare and plan.

Wish me luck! Has anyone else done home parties before?

No, I haven't done home parties. I haven't sold any beadwork either. Good luck on your venture.

Thank you!
One month left and I feel a bit rushed. But, I should have everything done. Just have to stay focused.
