My second "wish" is in progress. Bead Embroidery!
I wanted to learn this technique over a year ago. I searched the internet and could not find much information to help me get started. I know how to do embroidery, I learned that long ago. But stitching beads onto fabric, well, that was a concept I needed to learn more about. I've seen the dolls, the artwork, the jewelry and am just amazed.
Enter the Bead Journal Project! I saw this online last year and looked into it. I was too late to join the group and just let the whole thing go. The other day I found they were getting ready for a new year. I had to do this! I did look around on their website and checked out all the wonderful work displayed there. I was impressed, inspired and motivated!
I'm all signed up, got all my supplies ready to go and I am anxious to get going! I will share my progress here.
